Lutronic Genius is an anti-aging device that utilizes Radiofrequency microneedling to accelerate the production of elastin and collagen. As we age, our elastin and collagen levels naturally decrease in their production, which leads to our skin losing its firmness and tightness.
We utilize the Lutronic Genius RF microneedling in order to heat the lower levels of the skin and accelerate collagen and elastin production through coagulation zones, which are essentially controlled micro-injuries.
With microneedling at precise depths in the dermis, collagen, elastin, and hyaluronic acid are produced to repair the micro-injuries and leave the skin with an improved appearance.

In preparation for your Lutronic Genius treatment, it is important to keep the skin as healthy as possible before arrival. This means avoiding products with harsh ingredients, staying hydrated, and avoiding prolonged sun exposure. A good night’s sleep the night before will help you arrive at your appointment ready for a successful procedure. Also, avoid heavy exercise before the treatment, as this will dehydrate the skin.
The first step of the treatment procedure is skin preparation. An expert will wash and clean the treatment area, then apply a topical anesthetic that will help to minimize any discomfort during the procedure.
Next, the Lutronic Genius device will be calibrated to the appropriate settings. This includes depth and radiofrequency settings. Once this is completed, the procedure will commence.
Your expert will apply the microneedling into the skin of the treatment area, emitting radiofrequency energy into the dermis. This process will continue until the entirety of the treatment area has been covered.
The process is completed by cleansing and hydrating the skin.
As mentioned before, there is very minimal downtime with Lutronic Genius procedures. However, your skin will be red for up to a few days after the treatment as the micro-injuries created through the microneedling process heal. Once your skin is healed and the redness dissipates, it is wise to apply a strong sunscreen daily to help maximize results.
